BitWear is a low-cost compact accessory for micro:bit users to make fun wearable gadgets, sew it onto your outfit or use a strap to make your own smartwatch or wearable metronome.
BitWear is a low-cost compact accessory for micro:bit users to make fun wearable gadgets.
There is a vibration motor, a buzzer and an addressable RGB LED on board, all designed for your fun wearable projects.The board also allows you to turn off the motor and pixels with switches so you can use the touch pins or the breakout holes for other uses.
The BitWear is simply attached to the micro:bit with 5 screws (M3x5mm),and powered with two CR2032 batteries, which are securely clipped in and unable to be taken out unless you unscrew the BitWear.
Our goal design for the BitWear is to maximise micro:bit functions while minimising the space footprint to provide new micro:bit users with a enriched wearble experience. Our BitWearable Kit comes with a handy strap so for all your strapping projects, we suggest you consider the BitWearable Kit.

Project:
Daydreaming Alarm
Convert your microbit into a drowsiness detector. Wear it on your body, and if you accidentally fall asleep during class, it will play a melody to wake you up!
Rock-Paper-Scissors
When you shake the microbit, the matrix with randomly choose to display scissors, rock or paper symbol so you can play with your friends!
Light Detector
Wear the micro:bit around your neck. If it detects that the brightness level is higher than 800, a smiley face will be displayed on the LEDs, else; there will be a crying face. The LED brightness can also be set to automatically adjust based on the environmental brightness.
